Dear Santa

I would really like this car.

Not crazy about the matching track suit but the car? Oh, I want one! Although I do regularly match my car paint to coordinate with my outfit.

Now available in the US: The Smart Car.

15,000.00 price tag gets you 64 miles a gallon in the city.

I'm thinking that people already complain about getting in and out of my camaro that they'd never want me to drive if I had one of these!

hey, thats the car the Pink Panther drove in his last movie
so, are they promoting a world where we no longer pro-create?

Keeping it clean, shiny and vacuumed would be easy. Also, you could maybe drive on the sidewalk?

I'm gonna buy me a little motor scooter when we move so's I can drive myself to the grocery store.
It will have a neat basket attached to the back and a nice bell on the front.
If anybody makes fun of me for driving my little scooter I will turn around and chase them for at least two blocks or until they get out of my batsight. Cause you know just the idea of me jumping off that scooter and punching their stupid nose will jput the fear of the bat in them... nuf said....

Aren't those cute? We saw them all over Europe...problem is there's no place for luggage.

BTW, I like matching to my car also...it is a lime green bug and I have matching leather gloves and a matching purse (I'm afraid the gloves look more like something you'd wear for washing dishes, but still...they're mine and I like them). ;-)

I fantasize about smartcars. I used to have a web collection of all the sites on them. *sigh* You know, the number one purchasers of these in America are women.

Oh, so cute! I used to want a car like the one in "Funny Face" [a VELAM Isetta], but now I want this one! My mother would have a heartache, because she wants her children to drive indestructible tanks, but I love it!

jlr,
Oh indestructable? like the car I learned to drive with. 1970 Caddy Coupe De Ville. Funny, I feel like going sailing now.

Saur
I knew you'd like this. I recall you mentioning your love for these.

gwynne,
:oP~ pblitt! You've been to Europe. I want to go and see smart cars, too.

Uncle Joe
The BatScooter? Let's think of this, shall we? BatGremlin. BatSegway. BatCycle...it could work.

mcbunni
they are tiny!

jublu,
I've seen pics of these parked. They park straight to the curb, instead of parallel. I could let my supreme parallel parking skills go to pot for this!

Aunt Jo said...

Why park it? You could just put it in your purse when you go to the mall!

Blogger ate it. I hate that.

You do know that in the 1940s, Germany endorsed the VW Bug as an 'affordable family car'. Family? Have you TRIED putting a family in one of those?

aj,
That's their new sales plug: Save on gas and parking!!

harmonica man,
You could rip out the drivers seat and drive from the back. Work with me here!

leslee

dapoppins,
please limit comments to an even dozen. PS. Did you sleep at all last night?
