Queen of All Linky Love and a 4th Blogger BDay

This tidbit is All About Me and the amazing bloggers I've met. You might find a few in this post I read regularly having been in The Shallow End of bloglandia over the last four years.

Woot! Nov 1st means Happy Bloggy Birthday to ME!

Some bloggers I've known forever and/or couldn't imagine a day without. They are the friends that have witnessed my bad days, my good days, and all the days between.

(Dapoppins? Doozie? Do I hear an amen?)

How rude of me, let me introduce myself to those who don't know me. My Name Is Danielle but They Call Me Millie.

Haha, no they don't.

Okay, really. I'm Jenn who writes here at Bee Repartee and acts like a Secret Agent Mama but can also pull out her cool Col Tempo when need be. Not surprisingly, I'm happy. Why not? My Life Is A Cartoon.

I write From The Frontlines even though if you asked, I'd tell you that I Blog About Nothing. My Rantings of a Lazy Iguana are simply therapies and Stolen Moments for this Redneck Mommy when A very Gray day comes around. Mommy and Daddy bloggers like Momo Fali and Zoe's Dad would agree: Very gray days happen.

As a Mama Milton, my life is filled with Manuscripts and Sippy Cups, Diapers and Stilettos. and granted..some days are trying. Sure, you could find me Sounding Forth like an Impatient Chicken making sure my kids hear the usual Sermon on the Mount of Laundry, "Don't Forget to Flush!!".

Oh My Seven! I know, what do I expect? An Ancient One's Place left pristine by Your Neighborhood Reverend in a Green Cathedral?

No. Not a chance.

My bathroom is more like the college dorm meets My Dirty Shovel and a large compost heap. The flushing is always an issue at our house and every time it was easy Discovering Dad was not the culprit. Mr Coffee keeps things pretty clean.

Mommy and Daddyshack is much cleaner than the kids' space but I don't know how Mr Coffee manages to keep the order when I'm gone. The kids, their rooms, and the house, all in perfect shape when I'm out for the day. The kids still think it's funny when Mr Coffee's gone and they chant at me, "YAY! D is for Dad!"

Thanks. I'm just chopped liver.

Oh, For Heaven's Sake...now you didn't come to hear Mindless Blather. Perhaps you came by to celebrate a fourth birthday? Come for cake and get some whining...hehe. I guess That's Life. Yes. That's Life, Too..

Anyway....

Last summer, I was Loving Life and took time off from writing for Regeneration...deeper thought, to be more than Simply A Musing Blog. I gained a different perspective, you know, a View from the Cloud to see where I wanted to go with my writing.

I traded my Temporary Insanity?, hectic publishing schedules, and reinvented myself as the Flip Flop Momma who blogged barely once a week. I enjoyed this summer. I played Paddy Cake Paddy Cake, Jakers Mom with my kids. We hung out at the pool and I read a lot of books. I watched favorite movies. I played at the park. My mind wandered off in Holly's Never Everland and yet, I felt Fully Alive..Ready to Smile and stopping occasionally to smell the Fresh-Cut Flowers.

Think of my creativity as something like hiring Tracey Heppner Photography. She chronicles Looking Through The Lens of Paradise Valley 2 times, 3 times a week, sometimes once a day. You get good practice but occasionally you have to disconnect to come back with a new fervor and appreciation for your passion.

Like my French teacher once said. "Jo Beaufoix!" Which means (and I loosely translate), "Girl, your creativity is beautiful when you don't take life for granted!"...something like that.

Just go with it.

My point is this: Good writing, like good photography, needs a new point of view to pull out the best in yourself. It will reflect in all aspects of your life.

I want to be someone who matures into an awesome Roc Rebel Granny in my later years. I can only hope.

Now with new perspective from my hiatus, my Random Synaptic Misfire is concocting a Perpetual Writer's Blog in my never-ending Ramblings of a Curious Mind. I'm ready to write like a bonefide Authorblog. Granted I'm still a Genealogy Geek, ready to spew tomawesome's infosnacks on family roots but I'll always Hubbadoo writing.

Here is to another year of excellent writing, creativity, and all the good stuff that blogging brings.

Have a super eve and I'm off. Mr Coffee says it's officially Half-Past Kissin' Time!

Saurly Yours,
~Jenn
