Burping, TV, and MS Cures

Mr Coffee has been out of town this week for work so I've been pulling double duty. I don't mind him being gone except at night. I miss his company terribly.

My daily routine has been the usual, and this week has included mind-boggling questions from the 5 year old,

"Mama, does God can't like it when I burp?"

It took me a few seconds to realize what she was saying. I told her God made our bodies to burp otherwise we'd blow up. She giggled as I reminded her good manners were also warranted. I guess it's better out of the attic than the basement, don't you?

I am a Grey's Anatomy fan. I admit. Who else loves this show?

My friend is doing his ride this weekend to raise money for curing MS. I donated, and you should too. If everyone gave just $5 he'd make a good deal of moolah for charity. $5 bucks is a cup of coffee or what's at the bottom of your change purse. It's a really good cause. I thank you, thank you....

I'll be back to regular posting soon. In the meantime, you can also check out other blogs at humor-blogs.com. I'm listed and they give me linky love. Thanks for clicking!

G'day from Oz,

I came here from Kimberly's blog. Love the question from your five-year-old.

I have three kids and they are hilarious!

Ahh yes, we must be kindred spirits! Or at least, fellow lovers of Gray's for at least one really, really good reason!

please don't tell me that you miss mr coffee at night for the security/comfort thing.

(that would shatter the fantasy)

After nearly 15 years of sleeping in the same bed, I don't sleep well without him. As for security? I feel horrible for the soul who will learn the science of ballistics while breaking into my flat.

hear, hear...

So does Jane Doe/Rebecca come off as stalkerish?

I think God puffy hearts us period, attic or basement. He is cool that way.

yay, another Grey's fan!

I love it when someone from Oz visits. :)

God burps quite a lot himself. That's where clouds come from. Except thunderclouds, they come from, well, you know.

Again, thanks for much for your support. The MS 150 ride went well, this past weekend. My lovely wife, along with the lovely wives of a couple of the other team members, took a bunch of pictures and I hope to have a few to share soon. Maybe even a video of the pack of us crossing the finish line together.

And it looks like I've undone all the recent chiropractic work, so Dr. Crusher (or "Capt. Crunch", as a fellow patient calls him) has his work cut out for today's appointment!

P.S. - If anyone asks, the sponsorship link should still be good through at least the end of May. I haven't heard this year's cut-off date yet, but it was something like the middle of June, last year.
